I got to the office late, again. It had snowed and I did not leave time to clean my car off. I really need to take those kinds of things into account. It's literally snow city here! So Maryland when you say you are sick of snow, welcome to my life! It's a little outrageous the amount of snow. You can only see white for miles in any direction, if the snow hasn't been plowed yet of course. I digress, back to the day.
I arrived and had a list of errands to do. Go to Express printing, go to Atkinson's, clean concessions, and pull wine. Express printing is right by the post office, so I was going to get the mail too. Since the mail doesn't arrive until eleven or so I held off on my errands. I pulled the wine, and then I returned to my list of patrons. Once I got through a few pages and eleven o'clock came and went I headed out. I picked up our new Guardian sign from Express, got the mail, and went to Atkinson's to restock on items needed for the concession stand.
Once I returned I started on concessions. Straightening and cleaning. It wasn't too big of a job, just needed a little freshening up. I also took a journey to Ketchum today for concession items. I had to go to The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to pick up our desserts. Chocolate dipped pretzels and graham crackers. YUM! When I returned I also stocked those. I ran to Atkinson's again, to grab a sandwich, and by the time lunch was over it was almost time for auditions.
During the auditions I, along with Mr. Andrew, were in charge of signing people in and asking them to fill out the audition form. We then I had to make copies of the form for the different companies. I wasn't scheduled to go until the very end, so I waited patiently as people auditioning came in and out. I felt surprisingly confident with my monologue and song (which never happens). I was anxious and excited to go in. We finally reached the end and were waiting on one more person. There was time to kill so I was up! I did pretty well, a few slips, but I sill felt good coming out. The environment here is so different from any other audition environment I've been in, I think that's why I was so comfortable and confident! Ms. Denise and Mr. John gave me good quick feedback, and are going to be working with me on it to perfect it! I'm very excited for this work! Before I left I had a few ticket sales to complete and then I was off for the day! All and all it was a good day. Until Tomorrow...
