Sorry again for the late posting. I got home form the show and wanted to finish another play I had started. Lucky for me I finished my fifth play! Not so lucky for you, you had to wait for my post!
Yesterday was just a normal day in the office. I did some research for Ms. Denise. She asked me to look into the google grants program. You are given a cap to advertise your non-profit company for free. You get to pick the keywords so your company shows up in the ads when people search. Basically if you keep up with it, and keep track of your status, you're not at risk of losing the grant, and you get exposure! If we get the grant it will be my job to keep up with it and monitor our account.
After my research I took a lone ranger break at the diner down the street. A quick bite and then back to the Liberty. I then worked on my editing some more. Ms. Denise also pulled three more plays for me. I copied and added them to my binder. I now have a total of 11 plays in one binder (and have managed to get through seven already:)) I'm going through them very quickly because I'm still on the hunt for the perfect monologue. I have a back-up just in case, but I want to find the perfect one!
I was in charge of setting up concessions today. After my tutorial yesterday, I had managed to set up correctly. I did miss a few minor things, but you live you learn, and it was a quick fix. The day was going pretty slow so Ms. Denise said I could go home early and come back for the show. While at home I finished Eleemosynary and started Quilters. I continued Quilters during the show and finished when I arrived home last night!
Our second showing was practically perfect! It went really well, and I had a lot of fun tonight. Three more weeks to put on a great show. I'm anxious to see out weekend audience. Until tomorrow...
