Day 10: Short and Sweet

Hello again, today's post is going to be rather short. Not to say I didn't have an eventful day, but I'm tired, and I am forcing myself up for yoga in the morning, so I have to get to bed!

I had to bring the pups to the groomer this morning. I got lost on the way there. It's right off of Main Street so it really should not have been that hard. And on top of that I had a diagram Ms. Patty drew for me, Fail!

When I got back to the office I started work again on my list. Eight more pages conquered today! I also did some raffle ticket sales. I took some time in the company script library (located conveniently on a shelf behind my desk).  I picked to more plays to read! I worked with the copy machine again today, which is always a simple and easy task. No ticket blunders today, which was a good thing.

Today at rehearsal we went through two of the scenes we have been working on this week and one new one. The new one was the last scene of the play. Being the first time working on it, we only did a read through today, when we go through it again it will be on its feet! On break I took the time to myself in the rehearsal room and worked on my piece I want to do for the audition. It still needs work. Ms. Denise had offered to do some coaching with me or I could just do it and then get critiqued, but I'm still debating. It's one of those pieces hats a stretch for me, but I decided I was going to challenge myself.

After break I headed to the theatre. We were able to work on the stage today. Before getting back into viewpoints. A photographer, Kirsten, came and took photos of the cast in costume. I was able to take a few shots myself on Mr. John's camera. Tomorrow my job will be load and send the pictures I got. Being on the stage is very different than in the rehearsal room, especially when doing viewpoints. The space is smaller, and you actually have to be aware of entrances and exits, and you can't be walking through the walls. Every time we do them Ms. Denise and Mr. John comment on how great they are coming along. It just makes me want to sit and watch them instead of being in them. Viewpoints are always great to watch. I secretly wish I wasn't in the play because I just want to watch it. I mean sitting in on rehearsals is helpful, but I would love to see it all at once! Sorry for my briefness tonight, but that pretty much sums up my day. Until Tomorrow...
