Day 41: I Feel Papercuts are in My Future

Saying Thursday at the office was a slow day would be an understatement. I began the day by opening leftover Casino invitations and removing the return envelopes we can use again. I'm surprised I did not acquire more damage to my hands than I did. Needless to say, my pointer finger was a little raw by the time I was finished. It was just Ms. Kris and I in the office and when she left for a meeting I was in charge of manning the phones.

I sat in the office until she returned reading my current play. Two hours later I was almost finished the play, no one had called, and Ms. Kris had returned. I then moved down to the dressing rooms to finish my cleaning and make sure everything was set for upcoming rentals.

I still had left to put away the jewelry and make up form DMCP. Everything is filed away in the backstage closet. There are little drawer units set up and everything is labeled. Watches go in watches, necklaces in necklaces, earrings in earrings, and you get the point. After finishing up I headed back to the office. Ms. Kris was getting ready to leave, and since there was not much action I was going to leave shortly after. Not before doing a little playing first :)

I shadily took advantage of having the Liberty to myself and took to the stage. I went through my monologues a few times. I acted like I was the star of The Little Mermaid, Wizard of Oz, and Wicked on Boradway all in one hour. I make a great Ariel by the way :) I was really loving my time to myself in the theatre, I secretly wish it would happen more often. After my show stopping performances I headed home for the day. Next week is back to Stages and begins my project in storage. hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend, until Monday...
